Masculine Words

  • и is added to words that have one syllable
  • ове is added to words with more than one syllable Examples:

The final -а or -я is replaced with и

  • Жена - Жени
  • Стая - Стаи

Neutral Words

  • The final о is replaced by а
  • The final e and for loan words, an extra та is added to the end:
  • Село - Села
  • Кафе - Кафета
  • Такси - Таксита
